Epilepsy Australia Fundraiser

Story

Hi all !

This year I will be running in The Twighlight running festival and will complete a 10km course. I will be running for charity and raising money all up until race day which is Sunday, March 19th 2017. The charity I have chosen to run for is Epilepsy Australia and will be running in memory of my late boyfriend James. He was a man who was kind, genuine, loving and was taken from us too early. My target goal for this run will be $700. This run is very close to home and means more than words can describe.

Please find it in your hearts to donate support, encouragement and money to this run and organisation as they fight for awareness, research and a cure for epilepsy! Dig deep and jump in the fight with me by running alongside. Every voice counts.

Follow the donate link to the side to help out!

Epilepsy Australia

Epilepsy is a disorder of brain function that takes the form of recurring seizures. As the world’s most common serious brain disorder it currently affects some 230,000 Australians. At Epilepsy Australia we provide vital epilepsy first aid information and education to all those living with epilepsy and other seizure disorders. We are committed to raising community awareness and understanding of the very real issues faced by those living with epilepsy. The unpredictable nature of seizures can force people to stay at home, fearful of a seizure occurring in public. Would you know what to do if you saw someone having a seizure? Epilepsy Australia’s goal is for every household in Australia to be seizure aware. By supporting Epilepsy Australia you can help us achieve our goal.
